Alaska Airlines

Effective March 15, 2013, Kenmore Air has withdrawn from its previous interline ticketing agreement with Alaska Airlines. Participation in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan will also be terminated, effective March 31, 2013. Kenmore Air and its customers have benefitted greatly from their association over the past three years with Alaska Airlines, and this decision was reached only after careful consideration of Kenmore Air's long-term business imperatives.

Interline Itineraries

Effective immediately, customers will no longer be able to book joint Alaska Airlines-Kenmore Air interline itineraries through the Alaska Airlines call center or website, or through third-party travel agents or online booking sites. Customers with existing interline itineraries will be contacted directly in the immediate future by Alaska Airlines customer-service representatives, their Kenmore Air flight segments booked as part of interline itineraries will be cancelled, and full refunds of the Kenmore Air portion of interline fares paid to Alaska Airlines will be posted to the customer's original credit card. Simultaneously, all Kenmore Air flights originally booked as part of interline itineraries will be rebooked in Kenmore Air's own reservation system. Kenmore Air customer-service representatives will contact customers with such bookings to request payment at the same fare originally paid or to offer no-penalty cancellation, at the customer's option. Naturally, it is our hope that we may continue to serve all customers who booked Kenmore Air flights through Alaska Airlines.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Award Travel

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan participants have until March 31, 2013, to either book Award Travel on Kenmore Air through December 31, 2013 (subject to availability) or to make changes to Award Travel bookings already made. Such bookings and change requests must, as always, be made through Alaska Airlines by calling toll-free 800.ALASKAIR (800.252.7522). Beginning April 1, 2013, it will not be possible to change an Award Travel booking on Kenmore Air. Should a post-March 31 Award Travel itinerary on Kenmore Air prove unsuitable, the customer can request cancellation of the booking through Alaska Airlines and the refund of the applied miles to the customer's Mileage Plan account.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles Accrual

Kenmore Air flights booked by Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan participants by March 31, 2013—regardless of whether booked through Alaska Airlines or through Kenmore Air—will continue to earn 250 miles per segment, provided such segments are flown by March 31, 2014.

KenmoreRewards

Kenmore Air is developing its own loyalty program, KenmoreRewards. This program will continue to reward the loyalty of Kenmore Air's frequent flyers in the same efficient, transparent way that they have come to expect and appreciate during our association with the Alaska Airline Mileage Plan. Look for details of KenmoreRewards to be announced in the spring of 2013.
