Check-in

International flights require check-in 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
Domestic flights require check-in 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
Flights close for boarding 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
Seats for passengers who have not checked in by flight closure time may be released to stand-by passengers.
Aircraft may depart prior to scheduled departure time anytime after flight closure time.
To maintain an on-schedule operation, aircraft cannot be held for late-arriving passengers.
For flights departing from un-staffed locations (i.e., seaplane docks in the San Juan Islands or British Columbia (excluding Victoria), passengers are required to be present 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time to accommodate unforeseeable variations in flight time.

Note for flights between Seattle and Victoria: Effective July 17 we will departing and arriving at the Harbour Air seaplane terminal in the Victoria Inner Harbour, 1000 Wharf Street.

Seaplane Baggage

Seaplane passengers are limited to 24 lbs. of baggage per person.
All items are weighed and count toward the limit, including purses, laptops, backpacks and so on; there is no separate allowance for "carry-on" items.
No single item of baggage may exceed 10x16x24 inches.
Overweight baggage will be carried if capacity is available for $1 per pound. However, overweight baggage is always at risk of being bumped unless extra baggage weight has been reserved and pre-paid in advance. Complimentary baggage storage is available at the Seattle Lake Union and Kenmore Lake Washington terminals.

Wheeled Aircraft Baggage

Wheeled-aircraft passengers are limited to 50 lbs. of checked baggage (total weight of all checked pieces) plus one hand-carry/personal item of up to 20 lbs. per person.
No single item may exceed 50 lbs.
No single item may exceed 62 linear inches (length + height + width)
The hand-carry/personal item (purse, laptop, backpack, etc.) may not exceed 36 linear inches.
Passengers are not permitted both a “carry-on” and a “personal item" as on some major airlines. These are one and the same on Express flights.
