Steep Island Lodge is an all inclusive private island where guests experience all the natural beauty, fabulous fishing and all the wildlife and scenery the west coast has to offer. Located in the heart of Discovery Passage, Steep Island is the perfect setting to enjoy a day of sports fishing, explore the streams on Vancouver Island and the mainland, sightsee or ecotour, golf, kayak, and dive, all with friendly personable and attentive service and luxurious accommodations.

Guests of Steep Island are lodged in their own private cedar cabins over looking Discovery Passage, "The Water Highway to Alaska", giving them fantastic ocean and Vancouver Island mountain views and breathtaking sunsets. The lodge also includes a full-service gourmet dining room featuring local fish and seafood, seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs from the island's gardens, and fresh-baked breads and desserts daily.

Steep Island Lodge accommodates groups of up to 22 guests. It is the perfect setting for a Family or Corporate Group. Groups of 12 and more have the island reserved exclusively for their group.

Located directly across Discovery Passage from the city of Campbell River, Quadra Island is the largest of the Discovery Islands. Some 2,700 year-round residents are spread among three main villages: Cape Mudge (Yaculta), home to the We Wai Kai band of the Laichwiltach First Nation People; Quathiaski Cove, the island's commercial hub; and Heriot Bay, picturesque gateway to the outer Discovery Islands and mainland inlets.

With numerous accommodations ranging from cozy B&Bs and holiday rental homes to full-service luxury resorts, visitors to Quadra Island have a wide range of "home bases" from which to explore the island's stunning scenery, vibrant arts scene and abundant recreational opportunities.

Seaplane flights to Steep Island can be booked from Kenmore Air Harbor in North Seattle or from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport with a nominally priced shuttle connection. The 2010 summer service season begins May 21.
