Big Bay is a small, private community on Stuart Island — one of the most beautiful of the Discovery Islands. Big Bay is also a popular destination for boaters exploring the archipelago.

Note that with the closure of the former Big Bay Resort & Marina, Kenmore Air no longer has access to a seaplane dock in the Big Bay area. Passengers must transfer directly from the seaplane to a boat, arrangements for which are solely the passengers' responsibility.

Seaplane flights to Big Bay can be booked from Kenmore Air Harbor in North Seattle or from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport with a nominally priced shuttle connection. The 2010 summer service season begins May 21.
