This is one picnic you’ll never forget! Sophisticated gourmet food, salty sea air and a scenic seaplane ride to a remote picnic site make this custom-made day at the beach something really special.

Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate retreats or just a quick get together, Kenmore Air has teamed up with Northwest Floatplane Picnics to provide an unforgettable remote seaplane picnic (choose from 6 menus) on a beach accessible only by air or sea.

Seattle-area picnics are 2-2.5 hours long and include 15-25 minutes of flying time each way depending on your destination. Choose from Dabob Bay, which is located on Hood Canal, or Blake Island, just southwest of downtown Seattle.

Picnics in the San Juans are 3 to 4 hours long, and include a flight time of about 45-50 minutes each way. Destinations include Sucia Island, located one of the most scenic Marine State Parks offering hiking trails, numerous viewpoints, Madrona forests and intriguing geological formations. There’s also Patos Island, which is a small picturesque island with unusual rock formations and a lighthouse just a short hike from the picnic beach site.

Departures from Seattle’s Lake Union or Kenmore Air Harbor on Lake Washington available March through October. Private dock departures also available upon request. For more information or to book your Seaplane Picnic call Joy Stewart at 425.765.9204 or email her at [email protected]
