Information We Collect by Automated Means

When you visit our Sites, we may collect certain information by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, Web server logs and Web beacons. Cookies are small files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify your browser or to store information or settings in your browser. Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies and how to restrict or disable certain cookies. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Sites.

Our Web servers may log information such as your device and operating system type, browser type, domain, device ID, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your device is located. The Web server logs also may record information such as the address of the Web page that referred you to our Site and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet, which may be used to deliver a customized experience based on your geographic area and for the other purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

To control which Web servers collect information by automated means, we may place tags on our Web pages called “Web beacons”, which are small files that allow us to understand the actions of visitors to our Sites, and we use similar technology to analyze users’ interactions with our apps.

We use third-party Web analytics services on our Sites, such as Google Analytics. This service provider uses cookies and Web beacons or other technology to help us analyze how users use the Sites. The information collected by such technology (including, where applicable, your IP address) will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use the information to facilitate the evaluation of your use of the Sites. Learn about Google Analytics and how to opt out. If your device configuration allows it, our apps may also automatically collect information about the location of your device, using technologies such as GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth signals. This data may be used for purposes such as providing location-based products, services, or offers, and as further described in the “How We Use the Information We Collect” section below.

Advertising Technology

We facilitate the collection of information by advertising services administered by third parties. The ad services may track individuals’ activities on our Sites over time by collecting information through cookies and other automated means described in the section above, and they may use this information to show individuals advertisements that are (i) tailored to their interests or characteristics, (ii) based on their prior visits to certain sites or apps, and/or (iii) based on other information we or the third parties may know, infer or have collected from the individuals. For example, we and the third-party vendors may use first-party cookies and third-party cookies together, as well as other automated means and other data (including the information described in this Privacy Notice) (i) to recognize users and their devices, (ii) to inform, optimize, and serve ads, and (iii) to report on our ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services (including how they are related to visits to specific sites or apps).

As you browse KenmoreAir.com, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in. Our display advertising partner, AdRoll, then enables us to present you with retargeting advertising on other sites based on your previous interaction with [company website]. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number.  You can visit this page to opt out of AdRoll’s and their partners’ targeted advertising.

To learn more about interest-based advertising (one form of this advertising), including how to opt out from the targeting of interest-based ads by some of our current ad service partners, please visit www.aboutads.info/choices.
