Chinatown Walks | April 1 – 29
The second oldest Chinatown in North America, Victoria’s Chinatown remains a thriving hub of activity. Here, stores are tucked into alleys and restaurants rest in old brick buildings. Fan Tan Alley is the most famous of these alleys. In sections it spans just a few feet. It’s so small in fact that only one person can comfortably pass at a time. During these 90-minute Chinatown Walks, you’ll be treated to an in-depth tour of the statues, Chinese temple and more.
Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal | April 7 – 8
It’s rare that the Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal travel. In fact, the last time they visited Victoria was in 2003. But they return this April to help celebrate Dance Victoria’s 20th anniversary at the Royal Theater. This highly physical performance showcases the personality and unique skill of each dancer.
